The Council has launched a second major event for the equity release industry after its third annual Equity Release Summit sold out in May. The inaugural Adviser Summit will take place November 15 in the Midland Hotel, Manchester, supported by headline sponsor Aviva.
Advisers can attend the event for free and registration is currently only open to advisers who are members of the Council, before being extended to non-member advisers.
Only a few places remain in the exhibition hall and conversations with potential speakers are at an advanced stage.
The Financial Ombudsman Service’s Simon Pugh has confirmed his attendance and will be taking a deep dive into complaints and how to improve customer outcomes.
In addition to the deep dive, he will be giving advisers quick tips on how to avoid complaints, in a session facilitated by the Council’s risk, policy and compliance manager Sue Read.
The session was organised after respondents to a recent survey asked for Summit content covering regulatory issues.
A refundable deposit will be taken when a place is reserved and numbers are limited, so please register for your place today. Adviser members can register here
Further details on how non-adviser members can register will be announced in due course but in the meantime please take a look at some of the highlights from May’s sold-out Equity Release Summit below.
