The Council has launched a digital membership card that you can display to consumers and other industry professionals via your mobile phone.
The card, which bears the words proud to be a member of the Equity Release Council, is free and will replace the current plastic card.
To get the card you simply scan a unique QR code in the members’ lounge.
Scanning the code will download the Folio digital wallet and your membership card will be carried within it. The card will automatically carry your name, firm and renewal date.
Those with an existing plastic membership card are welcome to continue to use it. However, as part of the Council’s go green agenda, no more plastic cards will be issued.
The Folio digital wallet allows you to store other cards in a convenient and secure way.
Unlike other digital wallets, Folio allows you to store important documents including your certificate of membership.

Then click the membership card widget, check the details and scan the bespoke QR code with your mobile phone.
