Fees
Solicitor fees are based on caseload volume at point of application and renewal and are priced as follows:
Small Up to 499 cases
£482
Medium 500 to 2,499 cases
£2,140
Large 2,500 to 9,999 cases
£3,745
Major 10,000 to 19,999 cases
£5,350
Major + 20,000+ cases
£10,750
Please note:
A one-off application fee of £70 applies and membership fees are exempt from VAT.
Solicitors
The Council welcomes applications from solicitor firms.
In this context the term ‘solicitor’ refers to any solicitor, licensed conveyancer, chartered legal executive or barrister with acceptable professional indemnity insurance and a current practising certificate with their regulator, which is the requirement to undertake equity release legal work.
Ready to join?
- You must complete a firm application and an individual application for each eligible solicitor applicant. Please note all individual applications must be connected to a new or existing firm.
- The Council reserves the right to change fee rates at point of renewal.
- Applications take up to four weeks to process. We will keep you updated along the way.
- Fees are payable once your application has been approved, upon receipt of the invoice.
