Issuing statutory notices – a new approach to decision makers
The consultation relates to the proposed changes to the FCA’s process, the aim being to enable faster and more effective decisions to be made. This will help the FCA improve how it tackles firms and individuals who do not meet the required regulatory standards.
It is proposed that the FCA’s decision making and governance process will be streamlined, moving some decision making from the Regulatory Decisions Committee (RDC) to the Executive.
